The new Miu Miu fall 2013 collection has been displayed at Paris Fashion Week. With a rather sporty-chic vibe, the line featured slightly severe silhouettes. There were longer skirts and mid-calf coats, scarves and stripy stockings. Ah, and let's not forget those tight hairstyles! Everything screamed femininity and a particular elegance and sophistication.
“I had no time to think about this collection,” Miuccia Prada said after the show. “I worked on instinct. I had kept the idea of taffeta back from Prada - we started with the fabrics here - it had reminded me of Isabelle Adjani in Subway. I wanted the collection to have the feel of something sport, industrial, contemporary, tough. And that polka-dot scarf was the start of Frenchness, frivolity; the starting from sport toward a more feminine feel,” the designer added.
