Newborns and the Midnight Wake-up



It is said that families are like fudge - mostly sweet with a few nuts.

Your nest is complete, now that your baby is born. A new life starts, and parents discover incredible new things.

Things like waking up in the middle of the night while your baby's cry is probably heard by your neighbors.

Do you really have to suffer? All of you? For a mother who is breastfeeding is essential to wake up and feed the newborn. But, as a father, maybe you don't have to do this sacrifice.



In fact, there's not much you can do to help at 3 a.m.Your baby will fall asleep as soon as his mothers feds him.

So, if your baby wakes up in the middle of the night hungry, and your partner is breastfeeding, you might as well stay in bed and let her take care of things.


But, if your baby is being bottle-fed, it's normal and fair for your partner to share the feeding.Maybe you can work out a system with your partner and share this late night custody. There's a good chance your baby's not
