4-Hour Body Diet: Pros and Cons

"4-Hour Body: An Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat-Loss, Incredible Sex, and Becoming Superhuman", Tim Ferriss' book describing the 4-Hour Diet made the New York Times best seller list. Its popularity is based on the promise of losing 20 pounds in 30 days. Discover the pros and cons of the 4-Hour Body diet.

Without any medical or nutritional training, Tim Ferriss has experimented on his own body to come up with the 4-Hour Body Diet, based on slow-carbs and a lot of dietary restrictions.

The Four Hour Body is based around 5 simple rules, but it includes more restrictions than many traditional low-carb diets.



1. Avoid "white" starchy carbohydrates

2. Eat the same few meals over and over again

3. Don't drink calories

4. Don't eat fruit

5. Take one day off per week

4-Hour Body Diet Pros

Even though most nutritionists are wary about large parts of the advice offered in the Four Hour Diet book, restricting white carbs is generally considered a good idea for dieting.
