What is a 1950’s inspired fashion collection without big hair? Hairstylist, Sam McKnight, created a 1950’s Hollywood vibe for the models with volumes, curls, waves, and plenty of hairspray. Sam applied Pantene Pro-V Volume and Body Mousse to the models’ damp hair and blow-dried their hair with a rounded brush. McKnight sectioned off the hair into rollers and brushed the hair out after removal. After combing the hair back, Volume and Body Hairspray was applied to seal it. Hair extensions were not necessary for short hair, while Advanced Keratin Repair Split End Fuser was applied to the ends of the hair to help create texture. Charlotte Tilbury, of MAC Cosmetics, was tasked with creating the “tropical fifties girl”, the secret to the look was all in the brows, golden skin, and strong lip color.
Tilbury prepped the skin with Studio Moisture Fix, and Face and Body Foundation in C5 and C7. To finish the cheeks and temples, Tilbury brushed on Mineralize Skinfinish in Medium Dee
