WhatsApp Founder Rejected by Facebook in 2009

Life has its really own funny way to give you some lessons or pay you back with rewards. Take the newly-been billionaire Brian Acton and Jan Koum as an example. For the uninitiated, Brian Acton owns the Whatsapp along with his business partner, Jan Koum. Just recently, the famous social media giant, Facebook bought Acton and Koum’s company for $19bn in attempt to add something new for their users by the tech giant had definitely missed out something years back. Turns out, Facebook has practically wasted $19 bn over an application that could have been theirs had they accepted Brian and Jan as their employees years back.



The story behind the application is that the two Whatsapp founders had applied in Facebook after they left Yahoo.
