Hi everyone. Today I have another Spring nails for you! I have made Cherry Blossom nails before, but I wasn’t fully satisfied with that design, so I decided to redo it. I wanna laugh at my old cherry blossom nail art a little bit Especially at the lack of top coat (why, Paulina? why?!) and the funny shape of my nails. But that was in the past. Let’s leave the past alone and focus on the present, so here we go, my new cherry blossom nails.
Now, that looks better! I started off with a gorgeous light blue base, which is OPI Gargantuan Green Grape. I put three thin layers. After my base was dry, I proceeded to the nail art. I started with the brown branches. I used Catrice Dulce & Havanna. I used the thinnest nail art brush that I own to make the fine lines.
As for the flowers, I used a whole bunch of different shades of pink. Let’s look at the macro shot of my thumb. I decided to make more detailed flowers on my thumb and I am so happy with the result! I started with a light base and it is P2 Little Princess. Then I made a little bit of shading in the middle of the flowers with CatriceNEONaturals Mrs. Brightsight. Then I added little dark pink dots with W7 Fuchsia. I finished the look with green leaves made with GOSH Early Green and my favorite top coat Glisten&Glow HK Girl.
What do you guys think of these cherry blossom spring nails? I think I did a big improvement comparing with the old design and I am really happy how they come out.. I really hope you like it! Do let me know what you think in the comments section below,
Have a lovely night! Paulina
