Giving Paris Fashion Week the perfect endnote, the Hermès Spring 2014 RTW Collection drove the point home that fabulous prints are here to stay. The collection beautifully executed the trends of the season with impeccable personality. The theme of the collection was “Tropical after the Storm”, seen at a brand new venue, the Orangerie. The fresh flora of the venue made the theme believable, along with the hot temperatures. The atmosphere demanded a spectacular collection and the Hermès Spring 2014 RTW Collection delivered perfectly.
The collection reached back to the seventies and eighties with long, swanky, draping styles. The French chic aspect of the collection is strong, but shared the stage with the kimono style aspect of the collection. The cultural influence of the collection is intriguing, lending a hand to harmony after the raging storm. Gorgeous floral prints and blue suede are show stealers with the excellent showing they presented during the show. The relaxed atmosphere of the show truly played a hand in the overwhelming feeling of wanting to wear the collection to the beach. The Hermès Spring 2014 RTW Collection is worthy of a trip to the most exotic locations in the world.
