As many of you have already noticed 60’s fashion is one of the greatest sources of inspiration for many designers. So it wasn’t very surprising when Sam Mc Knight of Pantene Pro V chose a 1960s inspired hairstyle for the Moschino fall/winter 2013 show: a bouncy low ponytail with a sleek feel. If you really like this hairstyle but you wonder how to make it reality jut follow reading below and find out!

What you need to make sure at first is that your hair has been conditioned and applied a special heat protection. On the next step, apply mousse in order to make styling easier. Blow-dry your hair in a way that you create a volume on the roots. You can use a round brush to make your work easier. What you have to do next is create a low side part and section your hair. Make loose curls for each section and clip each curl into place for the bouncy finish.

Start back combing your hair from the front section in order to create needed volume at the crown. For the ponytail all you have to do is smooth you hair on top and make the ponytail right above the nape of your neck. You can use rubber elastic to secure it. On the next step take a small section from hair that’s under the ponytail, wrap it around the rubber elastic conceal and pin it in place. At last, in order to reach the real 60’s look, comb the front section of the hair down to your forehead and use a bobby pin to secure it in place. Whoala! Enjoy the results!
