Lea Michelle made us tearful, Demi Lovato had a duet with Nick Jonas, and several went home happy as they brought home their own surfboards. Apart from the “who will get what” scenes that we come to anticipate, the 2013 Teen Choice Awards, just like any other award, is all about seeing myriad celebrity style. And like any other awards, we looked forward to celebrities who committed fashion faux pas (hey, they’re worth arresting, right?) and those who should be lauded for their outstanding taste (or should we say their stylist’s taste?). Whichever, the Teen Choice Awards this year is worth your grain of salt for all its worth. Below are the rundown:
Selena did not just bring the bacon as she also made the spot in one of those best dressed celebrities. She had accepted her second award tempting the audience with her sexy legs in her classy Cushnie et Ochs dress (with two slits), Nicholas Kirkwood shoes. She proved that less is more with her Neil Lane accessories. Lucy Hale of “Pretty Little Liars” sizzle the night as she showed off her asset in her Houghton cropped top and skirt, strutting in Stuart Weitzman sandals. Lily Collins wore the identically palm printed skirt. The two even gamely posed a snapshot of each other and share the pic on Instagram.
Those who are suckers (pun intended) for the Vamp series can go fangirling with Nina Dobrev’s hot attire. The actress managed to land on the night’s best dressed list as she rocked the night in her J. Mendel top and pants and Dolce and Gabbana shoes. She also won the Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi.
On the other hand, the “Tattoo” singer looked stunning in her bodycon Bebe dress. She managed to maintain her chic allure in her Aldo shoes and sparkly Swarovski ring. Miley Cyrus proved she is still as fearless as ever with her uber revealing outfit. Where she sported a cool black Saint Laurent dress, leaving little to the imagination. Plus! her attire involved a lot of leather and sheer fishnet shirt, over her leather bra.
Demi Lovato who won big time, Choice TV personality and Choice Single: Female Artist proved that sexy does not always mean showing some flesh. To that, she wore a pair of rad leather leggings, white tee and glam black blazer.
Chloe Moretz ramped in the red carpet in her colorful bandage dress by Christopher Kane.
Kerry Washington chose to be playful with her attire. Her dress was one of an eye candy with her weird long sleeved Stella McCartney dress. She nailed the look with her Louboutin heels.
The “Teen Wolf”, Crystal Reed is also one of those who opted cute ensemble. She hit the red carpet with Carolina Herrera top and pants, Neil Lane jewelry and LK Bennet heels. Lea Michele, who dedicated her “Choice TV Actress: Comedy” to her late boyfriend Cory Monteith followed Crystal’s suit where she sported a cute two toned pink dress, pairing it with pink shoes.
To wrap this year’s Teen Choice Award, most celebrities passed the public’s fashion scrutiny with no reported terrible wardrobe malfunction. Dress like your favorite celebrities.
